Learn How to Print from Your Android to a Wireless Printer

There may be times when you need to print an important document on your Android phone, but you may not know how to print out the file. Well, let me share some helpful advice with you on how to print from your Android phone to a wireless printer. The first thing that you need to do is head over to the Google Play store. Then, use the search text box to help you find Android apps for remote printing. So, you will be able to print all types of files, documents, photos, emails, and web pages from your phone. However, keep in mind, that you may have to register for an account with a vendor that provides mobile print services. And, you may have to pay a modest fee to use their printing services.

Simply, follow these easy step-by-step instructions to get started.

Step 1:

Take a look at your wireless printer to make sure that it is set up to print documents from your computer. Click the “Start” button on your desktop. Then, select “Devices and Printers” from the menu list. Look for the name of the printer(s) that you have connected to your computer under “Printers and Faxes.”

Step 2:

Choose a mobile print application that will not charge you a fee to use their services. Breezyprint, PrintBot and PrinterShare are free software apps that you could use with your Android phone. You can also use Google Cloud Print app to help you print out your document. However, before you install the mobile print app on your phone, go to the vendor's mobile print website. Download and install the desktop version of the software application on your computer.

Step 3:

Follow the desktop application installation instructions. Look for mobile print service icon on your desktop. Double-click on it to launch the application. Automatically, the desktop version of the application will connect your computer to the vendor's server.

Step 4:

Register for an account with the mobile print service. Create a user name and password. Enter any other personal information that is required in the appropriate field boxes. Press the “Create Account” button when you're done.

Step 5:

Wait for the desktop application finishes scanning your computer for the installed printer(s). Add the name of the printer(s) that you want to use to print documents from your Android phone. Press the “Save Changes” button.

Step 6:

Download and install the mobile print application that you want to use on your Android phone. Follow the installation instructions that's shown on the display screen. Click the “Menu” button and look for the mobile print application icon. Tap on it and log in to your user account.

Step 7:

Type the same user name and password that you used to create the account with the mobile print service. Add the name of the printer(s) that you want to use to print from your Android phone.

Step 8:

Select a print option, such as “Pictures”, “Contacts”, or “Web pages”. For instance, select an image from the photo gallery on your phone. Adjust the page margins and picture size. Click the “Print” button when you're done.
